Experiment #32
Today we got good numbers representing input/output torque on the most recent test motor. Up until this point we’ve been engineering based on physical feel by hand and seat of the pants intuition, but now the hard proof is landing.
For this, we hooked up mechanical torque indicators to both the input and output shafts; it’s a little crude, but it was enough to prove that what we felt was exactly what was happening. To say the least, Mike is delighted with these basic numbers and we’re ready to move on with more advanced tests and prove this concept beyond a shadow of doubt.
This week we’ll start building a good test bench with rotational torque instrumentation, then we’ll be ready to fine-tune and show the world irrefutable evidence the Motoflux concept works!
